March Madness/Day 25

I use Twitter, and sometimes I'm sent a link to a news article which sounds really good, but the link has been obfuscated by a URL shortener. It's only when you get to the page that you realise that the article is on the website of The Daily Mail, or The Sun - two British tabloid newspapers whose grasp of "truth in journalism" is somewhat nebulous.

To combat this problem, I've created a Javascript bookmarklet which allows you to check the veracity of news stories in The Daily Mail, or The Sun, or a couple of other sites, by searching Google using the keywords from the news article.

Added fact: The word 'Tabloid' was originally used by the pharmaceutical company Burroughs Wellcome & Co. to describe its tablets, which were smaller and more compressed.
