I decided to play to my strengths for my first march madness program, so I built a hardware project. The microcontroller i used is an attiny2313, programmed using gcc.
The Sphere cycles through the colour spectrum. Eventually i will extend the program to support RS232 comms, and have the sphere hooked into a zigbee mesh in my home, for notifications.
